and so the half marathon is over and i completed it.(: i am happy. got a rather good timing. haha. praise God that my groin injury didnt act up and it's healing. i hope it will be gone soon. the stayover before the race was fun haha, we got like nothing to do after dinner cause there's no air con till 10pm. (school's generator is retarded)
and like what khing wrote, the fantabulous ACX met at Adelphi multi-storey carpark in the wee hours of 3 December to prepare for our run. and we ran, and ran, and ran in the excellent refreshing weather. shiok. i was trying to spot marathoners uncle bernard and sharon during the run but to no avail. (later i found out sharon is not running this year) and soon during the run, i found myself at marina, what i see are trees, people and roads. and a bit later i found myself wetter, with the 100plus i spilled onto my body trying to drink while running. and then i decided not to drink anymore. the part of the run i like most was through the CBD are, where echos are made due to the tall buildings all around and no cars are seen because the roads were closed. shiok. then came the last 4 km where i pace this lady who is in her 50s. freaky man, she runs fast for a woman at that age. ( she got 5th placing for women's half marathon in the end i think) then at the last 500m or so, i pulled away from her taking the cue from Mr Ang who said "nathan, time to open up". and hence i open my stride, thinking it will just be the last 200m. but BOOM, the road never ends. my legs start to get heavy, i wanna give up. but no, i said to myself, no. give up now? when i have less then 1 km left? NO. i continue to stride. and persevere. i wanted to cry. pain pain pain. everywhere. my posture must have looked very ugly alr. and thank goodness, i see the sign. it said FINISH. and i speed up more into a sprint. unfortunately, 2 runners over took me. argh. but neverthelsss, i crossed the line feeling satisfied. (:
it was very enjoyable cause of the super nice cloudy weather. and because i know God gave me a gift to be able to run a bit faster than others and i have used it. (:
after the race, i went back home to pack for my family's KL trip, and went up the buss at 3.30pm at world trade centre. (singapore one la).
KL tripit was basically a shopping and eating trip. got nice clothes at low prices and had delicious famous food at low prices too. hence, it was a low price SHIOK trip. hurr.

so i had a nice fun week, but i missed out alot of time to do work! sudy! ah. hence im gonna go off now, to do physics.
